Tours to Ishgl, Austria

As you know, the majority of skiing enthusiasts are not inclined to do their favorite thing at domestic winter resorts and prefer to go abroad. Those of them who prefer to ride in Austria often do not purchase vouchers there, but organize trips without outside help. Getting a visa is now relatively easy, booking and selling air tickets to Vienna is done on many sites, and booking hotel rooms is now easy and simple to do via the Internet. This is exactly what the most zealous skiers do, who prefer to spend their holidays in Ischgl.

Tourists usually book a hotel in Austria in advance online, compare prices, ratings and reviews. For example, in Vienna, you can book Palais Coburg Residenz from 152 euros per night.

It is located in the western part of the country, on the very border with Switzerland, and is part of the Landeck district. Today, Ischgl is considered one of the most fashionable Austrian winter resorts, it has excellent infrastructure and, at the same time, is distinguished by the fact that holidays there are still not too expensive if you take care of organizing it yourself.

Developing a route to Schigl is a rather important stage in organizing an independent trip to this resort, since thanks to the rational choice of the route, it is often possible to significantly reduce transport costs. Experienced tourists say that it is easier and more profitable to book a flight to Innsbruck on one of the specialized Internet resources (with a transfer to a flight of one of the local airlines in Vienna), and from the administrative center of the federal state of Tyrol to get to your final destination by bus or rented car.

All ski characteristics of this resort are at the highest level. The total length of the Ischgl slopes is about 200 kilometers, and the elevation difference is almost 1,500 meters. Among the slopes located there, there are both very difficult, designed for real professionals, and those that are perfect for intermediate-level athletes and beginners.

Even those who have absolutely no experience in skiing from the mountains can go to Ischgl, as they can learn this wisdom at the local ski school, where experienced instructors teach. At the same time, classes are held both with groups and individually.

As for spending time after mastering the local routes, in Ischgl it promises to be interesting and varied. It has a great pool, spa and several ice rinks. Gourmets are invited to taste Tyrolean cuisine in local cafes and restaurants, while shoppers are welcome to numerous boutiques and souvenir shops. There are attractions in this resort: the Church of St. Nicholas, built in 1443, the chapel of St. Anna, as well as the Matthias Schmid Museum.
